Out of the blue my JIO WiFi stopped working. Restarted the JIO WiFi router but it didn't help. It was showing green light as well, meaning it was OK. Basically names of WiFi networks were not showing in the WiFi list. Basically the JIO WiFi router was not broadcasting the WiFi network name for some reason.
e.g If your WiFi name is JIOFiber then it will not show up in the WiFi list. So you can't connect to it.
Please note I haven't made any changes to the JIO WiFi router. It was working fine and then above happend.
Tried few different things, no solution, but debugging issues comes naturally to developers. So tried few things and one got it started working. So I am sharing the solution here.
From Jio Fiber Broadband app renamed the WiFi network name from JIOFiber to JIOFiber1, changed password and it started working. So if you find yourself in this situation then try this solution.
